As we battle through the challenges of our day-to-day lives, living in the “Now” is an option available to us to ease us through the rough waters. “Now” or Mindfulness, often equated with groups like Buddhists, mystics, academics, or psychologists is actually a simple process accessible to us all.
When we need it most, living in the moment can be challenging during times of intense pain or strong emotions. But as we learn to apply the techniques and embrace the practices, living in the moment becomes easier and being present becomes as habitual as our usual state of distraction.Â
